NASHVILLE – The Titans will be without a handful of players on Wednesday as they begin preparations for Sunday's game vs the Kansas City Chiefs.

Titans interim head coach Mike McCoy said linebacker Cedric Gray won't practice today after suffering a concussion on Sunday's game at the 49ers. Safety Amani Hooker went home sick and he also won't practice, McCoy said.

McCoy said defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, running back Tony Pollard, edge Jihad Ward, tight end Chig Okonkwo will all be given the day off today for rest.

McCoy said receiver Xavier Restrepo, who is on the team's practice squad, will return to practice on Wednesday.

Also, McCoy confirmed edge Femi Oladejo, receiver Bryce Oliver and edge Ali Gaye will all practice after being placed on the team's Designated to Return to Practice list.

This designation opens up a three-week window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

McCoy said left tackle Dan Moore Jr., who did not play on Sunday in San Francisco, will be back at practice today for the Titans.

We'll update all the injuries after today's practice, which is scheduled for 12:15-1:45 p.m. at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park.

The first injury report of the week will be released later today.
