NASHVILLE – Leading up to this past Sunday's game vs the Jaguars, the Titans ruled out four players – center Lloyd Cushenberry (foot), defensive lineman Shy Tuttle (concussion), defensive back Kendell Brooks (concussion) and cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles).
At the start of the practice week heading into this Sunday's game against the Browns, Titans interim coach Mike McCoy said Armour-Davis is the only player who won't practice on Wednesday because of health reasons, while indicating several others will get the day off – Jeffery Simmons, Kevin Zeitler, Jihad Ward, Chig Okonkwo, Tony Pollard and Sebastian Joseph-Day.
"Six rest day guys," McCoy said, "and another guy out."
McCoy didn't mention receiver Xavier Restrepo, who is on the team's practice squad and because of that, won't show up on the injury report after practice.
McCoy didn't tip his hand on whether center Lloyd Cushenberry will return to action this week after missing Sunday's game, but he did compliment Corey Levin, who stepped in and played in his place.
"I think Corey did an outstanding job during the game," McCoy said. "We didn't skip a beat. … Very pleased with the way he played, and we'll see what happens during the week."
The Titans will release their official Injury Report later in the week.
