NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans hosted their third annual Dining with Hope dinner at the American Cancer Society Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in Nashville on Tuesday night. All patients, families, and caregivers staying at the Hope Lodge were invited to the dinner, which also included an opportunity to meet Titans players.

Ben Jones and Jurrell Casey spent time getting to know the Hope Lodge guests over dinner, and they also signed autographs and took photos with all in attendance. The evening ended with a Q&A session, and the two players discussed everything from their favorite offseason hobby to their personal work in the community.

"Bringing the community into our Hope Lodge not only gives our guests who are fighting cancer away from home, a chance to see the serving hearts of others, but a chance for them to briefly forget why they're here," said Kristina Bonham, Assistant Hope Lodge Manager. "They have a chance to just enjoy a good cooked meal, laugh with others, and our community gets to hear the stories of our patients who are going through the tough times, and hopefully lift their spirits a bit!"

The Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge, one of 35 Hope Lodges in the country, offers lodging free of charge to cancer patients and their caregivers while they receive treatment at one of the nearby Nashville hospitals. By reducing the financial burden and providing a community of patients with similar circumstances, the Hope Lodge allows guests to focus solely on their treatment and recovery.

Titans fans also had the opportunity to donate items to the Hope Lodge as part of the "5 and $5 Drive" that was held at Nissan Stadium prior to the Titans vs. Ravens game on Sunday, October 14. As a result of that collection drive, the Hope Lodge received more than 800 much-needed items like paper towels, coffee, and laundry supplies.
