Titans H.S. Coach of Week Program to Honor Coaches Impacting Football Health and Safety

NASHVILLE, Tenn –Since 1998, the Tennessee Titans have recognized high school football coaches across the state through the Titans High School Coach of the Week and Year program. For the past 15 years more than $170,000 has been awarded from the Titans Foundation to the honored football programs.

With the National Football League's increased emphasis on health and wellness issues such as concussion awareness, along with heat and hydration education, the Titans would like to honor participants that have signed up for USA Football's Heads Up Football initiative by acknowledging and highlighting the high school football programs.

Each week a coach from the list of eligible teams will be rewarded for their efforts towards making the game safer for their athletes. Additionally, the highlighted coach will receive a $1,000 grant from the Titans supporting their football program.

Stay tuned each week during the high school football season to find out who is making a great impact in football health and safety in Tennessee!
