NASHVILLE – The Titans have been awarded linebacker Brian Asamoah II off waivers.

The team waived linebacker Otis Reese.

Asamoah (6-0, 226) had been with the Minnesota Vikings since being selected in the third round (66th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

In 46 career games with the Vikings, he produced 20 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on defense, plus an additional 10 tackles and a forced fumble on special teams. In 2024, he saw action in all 17 games for the first time in his career, primarily on special teams, and tallied four special teams tackles and a special teams forced fumble.

Asamoah played in college at Oklahoma, where he totaled 179 tackles, five sacks and one interception in 37 games and was a member of three Big 12 championship teams and two College Football Playoff squads.

The Titans face the Falcons in preseason game No.2 on Friday in Atlanta.
