Titans Cornerback Adoree' Jackson: "I'm Good to Go"

NASHVILLE -- Titans cornerback Adoree' Jackson practiced for the third straight day on Thursday and said he's "good to go" for Saturday night's playoff game against the Patriots.

Jackson hasn't played since suffering a foot injury in the team's December 1 game against the Colts.

"I am excited to be out there with my teammates," Jackson told reporters in the locker room after practice. "They wouldn't put me out there if I wasn't (OK), so I am good to go, ready to go, and I am excited. I am fired up."

"(And mentally), I am fine. The time I had (to heal) helped me a lot and helped me get back focused. Being down and out sucks, but if you tell God your plans, He'll laugh at them because he has something better (planned). I just had to wait and now it is time and I am glad to be back."

Titans coach Mike Vrabel said after today's practice he's been encouraged about Jackson's progress, but didn't say anything definitive.

Jackson started 10 of the first 11 games for the Titans before his injury.

"Hopefully we need to see him play in a game, that would help," Vrabel said of Jackon. "We'll see where he is at and how he feels on Saturday night."

Logan Ryan, Tramaine Brock, Tye Smith and LeShaun Sims have worked at cornerback in recent weeks.

Jackson said he's excited about rejoining the group.

"It is a blessing to be back out there with my brothers," Jackson said. "I thought I would be back sooner than I was, but it wasn't God's plan, and His vision for me. But to have everything work out the way it did and to be able to be back for the playoff game, I am truly thankful."
