Titans Agree to Terms with RB Battle

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a one-year contract with RB Jackie Battle, who was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 11.

In his first season with the Titans last year, he played in 16 games, gained 142 rushing yards, scored one rushing touchdown and recorded 10 special teams stops. Battle joined the Titans after spending 2012 with the San Diego Chargers and five seasons (2007-2011) with the Kansas City Chiefs. For his career, he has played in 80 games, registering 1,168 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Battle entered the NFL in 2007, as an undrafted free agent from the University of Houston.
