Titans Agree To Terms With LB Justin Lawler

NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with linebacker Justin Lawler.

Lawler (6-4, 265) was selected by the Rams in the seventh round (244th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he appeared in all 16 regular season games and three postseason contests in 2018, including Super Bowl LIII.

Lawler, who played collegiately at SMU, has played in 19 career games, including three with the Rams during the 2021 season. He's been credited with seven tackles and one tackle for a loss while playing outside linebacker, along with two special teams stops.

As a senior at SMU in 2017, Lawler started all 13 games for the Mustangs and he tied for the national lead with three blocked kicks. He was also second on the team with 74 tackles (42 solo stops) and he had 15.5 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hurries (all team highs). He tallied 20.5 sacks, 226 tackles, three passes defensed, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four blocked kicks over his career for the Mustangs
