Titans Agree To Terms With Former Ravens DL Brent Urban

NASHVILLE – One day after drafting defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons in the first round of the NFL Draft, the Titans have bolstered their defensive line even more in free agency.

On Friday, the Titans agreed to terms with veteran defensive lineman Brent Urban.

Urban is a big man himself – he's a 6-foot-7, 300-pounder who was a fourth round pick of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Urban started 16 games for the Ravens in 2018, and finished with 27 tackles and a half sack. In four NFL seasons, Urban has played in 41 games, and he's tallied 52 tackles in 3.5 sacks. He spent the 2014 season on Injured Reserve after previously playing a season in the Canadian Football League.

Urban, who played collegiately at Virginia, played for Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees when he served as DC with the Ravens.

Urban visited the Titans earlier this month.
