NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans started the final day of the 2013 NFL Draft by adding another offensive lineman with the 107th overall pick in the fourth round.

Tennessee selected California center Brian Schwenke, who is 6-foot-3 and 307 pounds. Schwenke was a guard in his first three seasons but shifted to center for his senior season.

Schwenke started 36 of 48 games for the Bears. He started 20 at left offensive guard, four at right guard and 12 as a center. During three seasons in the starting lineup, he recorded 196 knockdowns and 30 touchdown-resulting blocks.

Army Master Sgt. John Reed, a Special Forces Operations Sergeant stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., announced the Titans' selection of Schwenke. Reed has served in the Army for 22 years, and has six deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The Titans chose offensive players with their first two picks (guard Chance Warmack with the 10th pick and receiver Justin Hunter with the 34th pick). Tennessee then selected defensive players with each of their third-round picks (cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson at the 70th spot and linebacker Zaviar Gooden at the 97th slot).
