NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have agreed to terms with tackle Laurence Gibson.
Additionally, the team placed safety Johnathan Cyprien on injured reserve and waived (injured) defensive lineman Connor Flagel.
Tight end Phillip Supernaw, meanwhile, passed a physical and will be removed from the team's Physically Unable to Perform list.
Gibson (6-6, 300) entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015. Gibson hasn't played in regular season game, but has spent time with a number of NFL teams, including the Cowboys, Kansas City, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Cleveland and the New York Giants.
Gibson played 38 career games (19 starts at tackle) at Virginia Tech.
Cyprien suffered a torn ACL in practice early this week, coach Mike Vrabel said on Thursday. Earlier this week, the Titans placed tackle John Theus on the reserve/retired list.
Supernaw, in his fourth season with the team, began training camp on PUP. Supernaw has played in 47 games over the past three seasons, including all 16 games in 2017.
