NASHVILLE – The Titans on Saturday activated running back Tyjae Spears from Injured Reserve to the team's 53-man roster.
Also, safety Mike Brown was placed on Injured Reserve.
Additionally, receiver James Proche and defensive back Kendell Brooks will be gameday elevations for Sunday's game at the Arizona Cardinals.
Spears practiced with the team all week for the first time since August. He was moved to the team's Designated to Return to Practice list on Wednesday, which opened up a three-week window for Spears to practice with the team without him counting on the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
The team clearly saw enough over the past three days to feel good his health heading into Sunday's game.
Spears suffered an ankle injury in the preseason, and he immediately began recovering and rehabbing. Spears was placed on Injured Reserve back on August 26.
Running back Tony Pollard has carried the load for the Titans this season, while running back Julius Chestnut has played primarily on special teams. Last week, the Titans placed running back Kalel Mullings on Injured Reserve.
Kickoff for Sunday's game at the Arizona Cardinals is set for 1:05 CDT.
