Titans Activate LB Monty Rice to 53-Man Roster, Place WR Treylon Burks on Injured Reserve

NASHVILLE – The Titans have activated linebacker Monty Rice to their 53-man roster from the team's Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Rice is eligible to play in Sunday's game at the Washington Commanders.

Also, the Titans have placed receiver Treylon Burks on Injured Reserve following his injury in the Colts game last weekend.

Additionally, receiver Dez Fitzpatrick and linebacker Joe Schobert will be gameday elevations for the Titans vs the Commanders. Both players will revert to the practice squad after the game.

Rice began practicing with the Titans on Wednesday after his window from PUP was opened.

Rice was placed on the team's PUP list prior to the season as a result of an injury he suffered last season.

A third-round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft from Georgia, Rice played in 10 games in 2021, with four starts. Rice was credited with 30 tackles last season, along with a pass defensed.

With Zach Cunningham sidelined with an elbow injury vs the Raiders, Dylan Cole and Schobert both played inside linebacker alongside David Long Jr. against the Colts. Cunningham has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commandeers.

Kickoff for Sunday's game at the Commanders is set for Noon CDT.
