On the defense ability to withstand the big plays:
"Yeah I mean, you know, I think back to that Buffalo game when we got blown out and kind of embarrassed on national TV. [inaudible] A lot of people counted us out saying what's going on with the titans? Boom. Boom. Boom. I spoke to you guys in the locker room and said our culture is based upon when adversity hits. We had adversity early in the year going zero and two. But three straights win, regardless of how they come its always great to win in this league because its going to be hard. We are always going to be in dog fights, one possession games. So proud of our defense big money [LB] David Long making plays. But like you said man there is obviously some things we got to correct. At the end of the day winning in this league is very hard and one thing I'm super proud about this group is we have no quit. Guys are going to fight until the end and that is something we can always build upon obviously with other things we got to correct."
On winning while still having things that need to be corrected:
"It says that our culture is strong and guys are going to keep fighting. Nobody is going to give up, nobody is going to go on the sideline panicking cussing at each other; imploding I would say. Like I said, its just what we believe in obviously those things are going to catch up to us. But the fact that we are able to stack those wins early in the year is going to be big for us heading down the stretch."
On LB David Long's game winning interception:
"Well, I was covering my man on my side and I kind of was like turning towards the inside- I just heard the crowd go live and I honestly thought they scored at first. But then I see David jump up and I'm yelling 'Get down, get down!" Then I thought he was about to crib it, but it was electric man. I feel like at least once or twice a year we get one of those epic wins, right. If it's last year in Buffalo, couple years ago in 2019 you're talking about the Los Angeles [Rams] game. Like I said just our culture, the way we are going to keep fighting until the end."
