I know it wasn't the original quarterback you thought you might be facing when you saw KC, but how do you feel about the secondary, the way you guys shut him down?
Yeah, it was great. I mean, no matter who's out there, it's an NFL game. You always have to come out here with high expectations for ourselves. Guys stepped up all across the field on the on the defensive side. We just stayed top-down, not letting balls go behind us. So that was a good job.
You guys did a great job shutting them down on third down, as they were only one-of-nine. That had to make you feel good, knowing how close you've gotten in these past games.
It was a great day on third down. Just passing downs in general. We just had great communication across the board. And guys were playing what we were communicating, which is awesome.
Right before Christmas, a home win finally for the first time in over a year. How do you feel actually coming to your home locker room and getting to celebrate?
It feels awesome. We haven't had music playing after a game here in a long time, so it was awesome to have that. Miss Amy (Adams Strunk) was here as well, so that's a good gift for everyone in the organization.
