The opening drive really well for you, you got points off of that, why do you guys think you weren't able to maintain that throughout the game? Just the ebbs and flows of the game. Got to stick with the run a little bit and it started to kind of get away from us. Had a few plays that we probably wanted back, especially at the end of the half and then just started compiling on top of each other after that.
How disappointing was this effort today overall, given the fact that you guys were highly competitive in the previous two games? It's tough, I mean any loss in this league is tough, especially at home to a division opponent. A team that we know we could have beaten. You know, that's a lot of teams that we played, but until we go out there and show it, we are what our record says.
What's it going take to consistently sustain offensive drives?
We got to be on the same page, communicating and we can't beat ourselves. No penalties, self-inflicted things like that.
The opening drive, you got going. How come that didn't continue?
I'm not sure. Just the way the game went, a couple plays we didn't make. And then, before you know it, things just got to where they were.
Tony, do you think that's the best you guys have run in in the last little while to start the game? Would you like to have maybe seen that continue throughout the game? Yeah, I mean it's probably the best we've ran in a few weeks, but it's a lot more that we can grow from that and get better with.
What do you make of all the fourth downs in this game, some of which you guys went for, some of which you didn't, how do you view those? I mean it's just us being aggressive just with our backs against the wall. Just trying to fight. Any chance we get, trying to make a play and unfortunately, we weren't able to make a lot of them.
How do you view the chippy-ness with the Jags today? I mean it's a division game, so that type of atmosphere is what you expect in those type of games.
