What did you see in QB Brock Purdy today? He looked like he was in command early on.
"Brock was awesome today. He did a great job commanding the huddle. He made some plays with his feet, which were great. He threw the ball downfield well and guys made plays. Brock was Brock."
*Brock said you were the unsung hero on his long run because you were the decoy. When does it pop into your mind that you can fake out the defense a little bit? *"I had a high school coach that said a great fake is worth two blocks, and I try to take a lot of pride in my faking. It's always funny when you know you're not getting the ball, but you're looking up in the air, and the defense has their backs to the quarterback and they're trying so hard to wipe. It's just funny to see that reaction. I don't know what sparked that. The defender was already between me and the ball carrier. If I tried to block him, he would have known [Purdy] was scrambling."
*What were your thoughts about the jump-pass touchdown? *"That was awesome. That's a playmaker being a playmaker."
