Quick Hits on Wednesday: Derrick Henry Ready for More, New TE Cole Wick's Mindset, and the Titans Injury Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans running back Derrick Henry had a night to remember last Thursday.

Now, Henry and the Titans would like to pick up where they left off against the Giants on Sunday.

"Just build off that momentum," Henry said on Wednesday. "Just go out there and play my game, but it starts this week with preparation, all of us, just trying to get better."

Henry set a franchise rushing record with 238 yards and four touchdowns against the Jaguars.

Henry scored on touchdown runs of three yards, 16 yards, 54 yards and 99 yards in the contest, as the Titans rolled to a 30-9 win.

Looking at the tape, he said the Titans executed, and did their jobs.

"We have to stay consistent," Henry said. "We have shown (we can do it), so why not? We have to keep that momentum going, stay focused, and don't get complacent. We have to keep working to get better."

New Tight End

New Titans tight end Cole Wick, signed to the team's active roster on Tuesday, practiced with the team for the first time on Wednesday.

The Titans signed Wick off the 49ers' practice squad.

Wick (6-6, 257) gives the team depth at the position behind tight ends Luke Stocker, MyCole Pruitt and Anthony Firkser. On Tuesday, the Titans placed Jonnu Smith on Injured Reserve, where he joined tight end Delanie Walker.

Wick said he found out the Titans wanted to sign him on Sunday, before San Francisco's game vs the Broncos.

"I was ready for a new opportunity," said Wick, who spent time with the Ravens, Raiders, Patriots and Lions before joining the 49ers. He played in six games for the Lions in 2016, and caught two passes for 18 yards.

"So far, I am just filling in. I hope to make an impact anywhere I can help the team. It's good to be back on a 53, that's for sure."

Injury Report

Linebacker Brian Orakpo (elbow), running back David Fluellen (knee), and tackle Dennis Kelly (personal) did not practice on Wednesday.

Coach Mike Vrabel sad Kelly should return on Thursday.

Safety Dane Cruikshank (knee), tackle Taylor Lewan (shoulder), receiver Tajae Sharpe (ankle) and Wick (shoulder) all practiced on a limited basis.
