FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Titans just wrapped up Day 7 of training camp with a practice at Centennial High.

Here's what you need to know …

**

What stood out**

• The atmosphere. Attendance was announced at 6,822 for the practice. Fans arrived early, and the Titans signed autographs before practicing.

"It was a very good night for the Titans, Centennial High School and Williamson County," coach Mike Mularkey said. "I think our players really enjoyed the environment based on the way they practiced. I think we got a lot done, and I think people were pleased to see what kind of team we have.

"It was a great turnout. For a Friday night, there's lots to do in Nashville. So to have (the fans) come out and support us, I think that's a great number."

• The Titans moved the ball well on offense in a two-minute drill that started with 1:17 on the clock, but the unit couldn't score. Credit cornerback LeShaun Sims for being in the right place to knock down a pass intended for receiver Taywan Taylor, who probably should've secured it before Sims had a chance.

• Running back Derrick Henry once again looked explosive with extended work. He busted runs to the outside, and up the middle in several periods.

• Tight end Jace Amaro made a pair of nice catches during a two-minute drive that included second-team performers. Amaro caught a 21-yard pass when he got open, and showed a nifty move. Amaro later caught a touchdown pass in the end zone in another period.

• Cornerback Adoree Jackson made the most of his opportunities while working in the return game. He looked explosive, and the crowd loved it. Eric Weems, Khalfani Muhammad and Taylor also worked returning kicks.

• Linebacker Wesley Woodyard stifled Henry on one run, which fired up the defense.

• Running back David Fluellen had a nice night, scoring a pair of touchdowns in a period near the goal-line. One of the scores came on a catch – a pass thrown by quarterback Matt Cassel.

• Linebacker Jayon Brown made his presence felt. He busted into the backfield and wrapped up Muhammad for a loss.

• Rookie linebacker Josh Carraway also showed up and applied nice pressure in a two-minute drill with primarily back-ups on the field.

• The offense was awarded the WWE championship belt in its pass rush competition between the o-linemen and d-linemen/linebackers.

Play of Day

OK, I'm going with a series of plays here, and they all involved receiver Eric Decker.

When the Titans worked on a two-minute drill, Decker came up big time and again.

He caught a third-down pass from quarterback Marcus Mariota for a 16-yard gain, before hauling in another third-down pass for 21 yards. Moments later, Decker hauled in another third-down grab for a first down.

Later in practice, Decker caught a touchdown pass from Mariota in the back of the end zone.

It's early in camp, but already the veteran appears to have good chemistry with Mariota.

Story of the Day

Receiver Corey Davis, the team's first-round pick, is "week to week" with the hamstring injury he suffered on Thursday, Mularkey said on Friday.

Davis watched Friday's practice from the sideline in his uniform. He said his coaches and teammates have encouraged him.

"The guys are supportive, from Marcus (Mariota) on down,'' Davis said. "They kind of understand what it takes, and you have to take it slow, especially me. I want to get out there and I am very impatient. But I trust coach Mularkey and I trust the training staff and they are going to get me right."

Injury Watch

• Running back DeMarco Murray did not practice because of a hamstring injury. Murray watched practice in his uniform, wearing sweatpants. Mularkey has called the injury a "tweaked" hamstring, and said he's day-to-day.

• Receiver Tajae Sharpe did not practice again. He was placed on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of camp because of the foot injury he suffered earlier in the offseason.

• Linebacker Victor Ochi suffered a leg injury during the early portion of practice and had to be helped off.

Next practice: Saturday, 6 p.m. at Nissan Stadium.
