Quick Hits After Wednesday's Titans Practice

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Wednesday to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium.

Some quick hits on the Titans after Wednesday's session:

-Running back Derrick Henry, moved to the team's 'Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list earlier in the day, returned to practice.

It was quite a sight.

This designation opened up a 21-day window for Henry to practice with the team, and he will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.

Henry suffered a foot injury in the team's October 31 game vs the Colts, and he's missed the last eight games.

-Tight end Ryan Izzo, added to the team's active roster earlier in the day, practiced with the team for the first time.

Izzo has been assigned No. 83 with the Titans.

-Defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand, signed to the team's practice squad earlier in the day, also practiced with the team for the first time.

Hand has been assigned No. 78 with the Titans.

-Receiver Julio Jones, who was removed from the team's Reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week, was back on the practice field on Wednesday. He was listed as limited in the Injury Report with a hamstring injury.

-Receiver A.J. Brown was out there, too.

-Defensive lineman Naquan Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

-Cornerback Jackrabbit Jenkins (ankle) was limited in practice on Wednesday.

-Center Ben Jones (knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday.

-Tackle Kendall Lamm (illness) was limited in practice on Wednesday.

-Guard Rodger Saffold (shoulder) was limited in practice on Wednesday.

-Defensive lineman Larrell Murchison, who has missed the past three games with a knee injury, practiced on Wednesday in full.

-Outside linebacker Derick Roberson, who did not play on Sunday, also practiced on Wednesday and he was listed as a full participant despite an illness.

-Practice squad tackle Paul Adams is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and he did not practice on Wednesday.

-The Texans will release their initial Injury Report later on Wednesday.

-The Texans released their initial Injury Report on Wednesday, and it looked like this: WR Chris Conley (knee) and QB Deshaun Watson (NIR) did not practice. OL Justin Britt (knee), DL Jonathan Greenard (shoulder) and LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) were limited in practice.

-In addition to Titans HC Mike Vrabel, safety Kevin Byard, defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, cornerback Kristian Fulton, running back D'Onta Foreman, left tackle Taylor Lewan and linebacker David Long all talked to reporters before Wednesday's practice.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice on Thursday and Friday ahead of Sunday's game. Kickoff is set for noon at NRG Stadium in Houston.
