OT Mike McGlinchey

On Tennessee's defense

"They brought a lot of pressure. I just didn't think we got into enough of a rhythm offensively in the first half to commit to running the football, to impose our will on that team. We turned the ball over far too much. We didn't allow drives even to get started by not converting first downs. Four turnovers is egregious, and that has to stop. When you turn the ball over four times, you don't get the privilege of running the football like that because you're not staying on the field. So it's a full team effort, we got to be better there. Thank God we have the defense we do, and we'll get it cleaned up for next week."

On finding a way to win despite turnovers

"A good quality to have is being able to win ugly. The chips were stacked against us a lot today [and] we kept grinding back and forth. Getting ourselves into position to try and win a ball game. It shows a lot of mental toughness to overcome the things that we were doing poorly on offense, and then our defense gave us a chance to keep at it. Finally we came alive a bit late in the third and fourth quarter."

On RB J.K Dobbins' and RJ Harvey's long runs

"It was great. Those two guys are awesome talents, and they're going to be great for us. We got to give them the football a little more."
