NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The three fifth-round selections made by the Tennessee Titans in the past three NFL Drafts make up half of the players on the roster that were selected in that round.

]("On the Roster" is a round-by-round look at when each player on the Titans was selected in previous NFL Drafts. With five days before this year's draft begins, here's a look at the fifth round.)

The Titans, used the 142nd overall pick in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft to selecte Karl Klug, are scheduled to pick at 142 again this year. Click here for a slideshow of fifth rounders on Tennessee's roster.

Tennessee drafted Taylor Thompson in the fifth round (145th overall) in 2012, Karl Klug at the 142nd spot in 2011 and Robert Johnson at 148 in 2010. Linebacker Tim Shaw, fullback Quinn Johnson and quarterback Nathan Enderle were drafted by other teams before joining the Titans.

The Titans traded up 10 spots in last year's draft by sending their scheduled fifth and seventh-round picks to Miami. Although Thompson converted to play defensive end at Southern Methodist, he entered the NFL Draft as a tight end and impressed scouts with his blocking and hands in the passing game.

Klug made an immediate splash with Tennessee as a rookie when he led the Titans with seven quarterback sacks. Although he is smaller than prototypical pro defensive tackles, Klug uses quickness and leverage to rush quarterbacks. He's played in all 32 games and has 10.5 sacks and 15 quarterback pressures in those games.

Tennessee tabbed Robert Johnson out of Utah and placed him on its practice squad for most of his first two seasons. He was elevated to the active roster for the final three games of 2011 and played in 12 games with three starts in 2012.

The Titans claimed Shaw off waivers after his release by Chicago before the 2010 season. Shaw has played in all 48 games in his three seasons with the Titans. His primary duty has been on special teams, the unit he captained in 2012, but he has also filled in at linebacker. Shaw set a career high with 38 tackles (30 solos) and has 48 additional tackles on special teams in the past three seasons. He also blocked a punt against Pittsburgh last season to set up Tennessee's first TD against the Steelers.

The Titans acquired Quinn Johnson in a 2011 trade with Green Bay in September 2011. He was waived after four games when Ahmard Hall returned from suspension and signed with Denver. The Titans claimed Quinn Johnson after the Broncos waived him in December 2011, brought him back in 2012 and re-signed him for 2013. Quinn Johnson played in all 16 games last season, primarily as a blocker for Chris Johnson and on special teams.

Enderle spent 2011 with the Bears and joined Jacksonville during training camp last season after he was waived by Chicago. He joined Tennessee by signing a future contract in January.

The Titans are scheduled to make nine selections in this year's NFL Draft, including the 142nd overall pick in the fifth round on April 27. Will they find another Klug?
