Q. Do you have an initial impression on how it went without Devin Bush, both with (Robert) Spillane in the base and the changes you guys made to the sub-packages?

T.J. WATT: Yeah, obviously it's very tough to fill in that middle linebacker position, especially when you have a player as talented as Devin is. We truly believe in the next man up mentality and I feel like Rob Spillane did a great job. But just like anything else, there's going to be a lot of film to look at, digest, and process, especially that second half.

Q. I think this is the second fewest yards that Derrick Henry had over his pass 16 games. Cam sort of downplayed it and said, 'We've got to be better against the run.' But like I said, it's better than almost anybody's done. How do you assess how you stopped him and that challenge?

T.J. WATT: There was too much splash. We have goals so high for ourselves because we know what we can do when we feel like we can be a truly special defense. And that's why no one's really satisfied after today. We need to do a lot better job, especially in the second half. But it starts with the run. And even though we did a good job in the first half, we got to continue and roll it over into the second half.

Q. Ben said in the past that there are times the defense will pick up the offense. Do you feel like you guys worked well in concert in finding a way just to get a win here?

T.J. WATT: Yeah, I mean, we're trying to do the best that we can to get a complete football game. That's not always going to happen week-in and week-out. That's why it's so important to get out of these games with a win no matter how awesome or how ugly they look. And the offense did a great job today and the defense. We've got to do a better job in the second half.

Q. I know you're talking about a complete game. Was that first half as complete a performance as you guys can put forth?

T.J. WATT: I'm not sure. We're going to have to look at the film and truly see what it is. I'm sure there's a lot more meat left on the bone, like Coach Tomlin says. And I'm just really excited to get out of here with a win but not satisfied at all and there's going to be a lot of good tape to watch.
