Justin Hunter, Kendall Wright Lead Titans Caravan Through East Tennessee Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Titans wide receivers Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter are scheduled to headline the Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan on Friday, May 16, the fifth day of the team's annual trip through the Mid-South.

The day begins with a pair of trips to Academy Sports Outdoors locations, first at 3:30 p.m. EDT in Chattanooga (2220 Hamilton Place Blvd.) and next at 6:30 p.m. EDT in Knoxville (145 Moss Grove Blvd.)  The duo caps their tour with an 8 p.m. CDT stop at Kroger in Cookeville (445 S. Jefferson Ave.).

Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan public stops are free events that allow fans to meet players, T-Rac and the "Voice of the Titans" Mike Keith.  Posters are provided at no cost to all Caravan attendees for autographs, and photos are encouraged.  Public stops generally last one hour.

Wright, a first-round draft pick in 2012, is entering his third NFL season.  He has more receptions—158—than any other player in franchise history in his first two NFL campaigns, and he is the first player in franchise history to lead the team in receptions in each of his first two seasons.

In 2013, Wright's 94 catches ranked seventh in the NFL and ranked fifth in franchise history for a single season.  His 1,079 receiving yards were the most by a Titans player since 2004 (Drew Bennett and Derrick Mason).

Wright concluded his career at Baylor University as the most decorated and accomplished receiver in school history.  He owns virtually every significant receiving record for the program, totaling 302 receptions for 4,004 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Hunter is entering his second NFL season.  The former University of Tennessee standout was the 34th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft after the Titans traded up in the second round to select him.

As a rookie, Hunter played in 14 games and totaled 18 receptions for 354 yards and four touchdowns.  His four touchdown receptions tied Wright (2012) and Tyrone Calico (2003) for the most by a franchise rookie since Chris Sanders' nine in 1995.

Hunter's career statistics with the Volunteers included 106 receptions for 1,812 yards in 28 games (17 starts).  At the time he entered the NFL, his receiving yardage total ranked 11th on the school's career list, and his eight 100-yard receiving performances tied for third all-time by a Volunteer.  His 18 touchdown catches ranked fifth on the school's career charts.

As a junior in 2012, Hunter returned from an ACL injury he suffered the previous season and led the Volunteers with 73 receptions for 1,083 yards and nine touchdowns.

Titans Caravan began in 1998 as a small effort to spread goodwill through the region. Today, seven full-time staffers travel with Titans players and T-Rac through the Mid-South on a specially-decorated motor coach.  Since 1998, the Caravan has made over 800 stops and allowed the team to interact directly with an estimated audience well in excess of 150,000 fans.
