"It was just really exciting. I guess I don't know how to put it fully into perspective. I was just really happy. You just never expect this day to come, and it did. I'm really happy."
On if he could enjoy his return back to the field at all
"Yeah, I couldn't really get the first play call out. I was kind of emotional, but we figured it out."
On getting the win despite losing the turnover battle
"We don't know the hand we're going to be dealt every week on defense. Our job is to push them. I think on two of those pushed them out of field goal range, so it doesn't even matter. That's our job - to go out there. It doesn't matter how good we play if we can't do those things. We were able to do that today, so it was a good team win."
