Hasselbeck Hurts Left Calf Chasing Tipped Pass

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has hurt his left calf and is questionable to return against the New Orleans Saints.

Hasselbeck was hurt in the second quarter Sunday after Saints tackle Shaun Rogers tipped his pass up into the air. The Titans quarterback ran up toward the line after the ball, then came up hopping without putting his foot down. Hasselbeck sat down on the field where he was tended by a doctor and team trainers before gingerly walking to the sideline with 11:13 left in the second quarter.

Rookie Jake Locker replaced Hasselbeck, while trainers tried to wrap up the veteran's calf.

Titans linebacker Gerald McRath was carted off the sideline after hurting his left knee covering a kickoff. He is questionable along with running back Javon Ringer (hand).
