Griffin, McCluster, Walker Headline Day 2 of Titans Caravan

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin, running back Dexter McCluster and tight end Delanie Walker are scheduled to headline the Academy Sports + Outdoor Titans Caravan on Tuesday, May 13, the second day of the team's annual trip through the Mid-South.

The day begins with a 3:30 p.m. public autograph signing in Jackson at West Tennessee Healthcare Complex (250 Bancorp S Pkwy).  The trio then will make a public visit at Academy Sports + Outdoors at 6:30 p.m. in Collierville (275 New Byhalia Road).

Griffin, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, was selected by the Titans in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft.  In 2013, he started 14 games at safety and ranked third on the team with 106 tackles.  He also registered an interception, a stop for loss, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery last season.  Griffin started all 16 games at safety in 2012 and tied for the team lead with four interceptions, while finishing second on the team with 103 tackles.

McCluster is an explosive weapon that has seen action at running back, wide receiver and return specialist during his NFL career.  The Titans signed the former second-round selection on the first day of free agency in 2014, following his four-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs.  McCluster is a prolific return specialist that was named to his first Pro Bowl after a 2013 campaign in which he returned two punt returns for touchdowns.  The 5-foot-8-inch, 170-pounder is a dynamic receiver that has hauled in receptions from the slot, the offensive backfield and as an outside receiver and he should bring versatility and big plays to the Titans' offense.

Walker is in his second year with the Titans.  The tight end was one of the team's top targets when the 2013 unrestricted free agency signing period began.  In his first campaign with the Titans last season, Walker played in 15 games with 11 starts and led the team with a career-high six receiving touchdowns.  The 6-foot, 242-pounder also ranked second on the team with a career-high 60 receptions and third on the squad with 571 receiving yards in 2013.  He became just the second Titans tight end (Frank Wycheck) to amass 60 receptions in a season.

Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan public stops are free events that allow fans to meet players, T-Rac and the "Voice of the Titans" Mike Keith.  Posters are provided at no cost to all Caravan attendees for autographs, and photos are encouraged.  Public stops generally last one hour. Titans Caravan began in 1998 as a small effort to spread goodwill through the region. Today, seven full-time staffers travel with Titans players and T-Rac through the Mid-South on a specially-decorated motor coach.  Since 1998, the Caravan has made over 800 stops and allowed the team to interact directly with an estimated audience well in excess of 150,000 fans.
