You guys moved the ball pretty well, but just couldn't seem to cash in once you got into the red zone. How frustrating is that on a day like this?
"I mean, in the NFL, the only way to do anything is score points. And no matter how, no matter how long it takes, no matter how fast it is, you've got to score points. And right now, that's our number one block I think, and we need to get that done."
How was Cam Ward during the game, in the huddle and everything like that? It looked like at one point, he got a little frustrated after not going for it on that fourth down near midfield. Was he like that in the huddle, was he keeping his composure?
"Cam (Ward) is just the epitome of competitiveness. He always wants to keep competing. He wants to keep going, go for the fourth, keep going until the clock runs out, keep trying to score, keep trying to get better. And that's what you need as a QB, even when things aren't going the way we want to right now. We're going to need that fire in us throughout the rest of this year. And you know, for the rest of his career moving forward."
As a veteran, do you like seeing that from a rookie quarterback with that competitive fire?
"Yeah, absolutely. We need that. As an old guy, you love when the young guys are fiery and keep you motivated and keeping you going."
