Friday's Quick Hits: Derrick Henry Questionable, LeShaun Sims Off Injury Report and Three Titans Ruled Out for Sunday's Game vs Texans

NASHVILLE -- The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Here's a look at three quick hits from Friday:

Derrick Henry Listed as Questionable

Titans running back Derrick Henry missed practice for the third straight day on Friday and has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game because of his lingering hamstring injury.

Titans coach Mike Vrabel was asked if Henry missing an entire week of practice at this point in the season makes a difference.

"I think that anytime that we can have guys practice," Vrabel said, "we're just trying to do what's best for the football team each and every week to take care of the player and do what's right for the team and player."

When asked if he feels good about Henry's chances of playing against the Texans, Vrabel only said "I feel good about all of our guys."

Henry, who has posted four straight 100-yard games and 1,243 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the season, said on Thursday he expected to play.

Henry was also limited in practices last week before running for 103 yards against the Raiders. This marks the first time Henry missed all three days of practices leading up to a game, however.

"As long as I am in the meetings and watching film and get a little bit of work I think I'll be fine," Henry said on Thursday. "It's football, you are going to have injuries, and things like that are going to come up. You have to play through them, and you have to be tough and have a great mentality, especially in the situation we're in, I want to help my team finish."

Injury Report

Cornerback Adoree' Jackson (foot), receiver Adam Humphries (ankle) and linebacker Daren Bates (shoulder) have all been ruled out for Sunday's game after missing practices all week.

Safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion) was also a full participant for the second day in a row, and he's also been listed as questionable for Sunday's contest.

Vrabel said the team is "still waiting to hear back on some things" when asked about whether Vaccaro has been cleared from concussion protocol.

Sims Off Injury Report

Cornerback LeShaun Sims (ankle), who has missed the past two games with an ankle injury, was a full participant in practice again once again on Friday and he does not have an official designation on the Injury Report.

It's a positive development for the Titans, considering Jackson is out and the team is thin at the position.

A week ago, the Titans signed veteran Tramaine Brock and he started against the Raiders.

"I mean, I think that he's continuing to progress," Vrabel said of Sims. "We'll see where he is when we need to make decisions."
