NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan joined other celebrities to help raise funding and awareness for the Nashville Humane Society's Unleashed: Dinner with your Dog event at the Hutton Hotel on January 21st.
Unleashed is an annual fundraising dinner with your dog and pet fashion show featuring local fashion designers, jewelry designers and interior decorators who have created custom "canine couture" pieces for the runway.
Patrons can see cocker spaniels in couture, terriers in tiaras, and NHA pets of all shapes and sizes up for adoption, strutting their stuff down the runway with local celebrities and fellow pet lovers.
About a dozen dogs, all up for adoption through the humane association, walked the runway in this year's fashion show. The second annual event was hosted and emceed by country recording artist Kellie Pickler as she was joined by other local personalities that included: Ty Herndon, Jimmy Wayne, Allison DeMarcus, Julie Roberts, Sarah Darling, Karla Lawson, Shane Talent, Heather Byrd, Mike Smith, Margaret Ellis, Jeffrey Garner, Dean Miller and Russell Hitchcock.
An estimated 200 attendees patronized the black-tie affair and enjoyed a cocktail hour, live auction and sit-down dinner along with demonstrations, giveaways and a fashion show featuring one-of-a-kind canine couture items created by 10 local fashion designers, jewelry designers and interior decorators such as Baxter, Bailey and Company, Judith Bright, Margaret Ellis, Jeffrey Garner-Prophetik, Imogene Willie, Love Simone, Marti McFli, Old Made Good, Prairie Go Round, Melissa Tabor and Tuft.
