How discouraging is it for you guys to be 0-3, with three tough losses?
At this point, this is a business and this is our job. No one is going to feel sorry for us. No one is going to come save us. We have to come back with the mindset that we have to move on from this. It sucks being 0-3 right now. But it's going to be up to us to come back to work. At the end of the day, you have to do things to win football games. We tackled like s--- today. Penalties. You're going to lose football games. We've been talking about it, and keep saying the same thing over and over again. When are we going to stop getting penalties? When are we going to tackle better? So, we've got to do things to win football games. You can't just be disappointed and hang your head. You have to look in the mirror first, and see how each player can get better.
You've talked about missed tackles. How tough was that to see the missed tackles?
Man, we keep talking about the same thing. Missed tackles, and being on the same page. At some point we just got to do it. It'll be interesting to see how many missed tackles we had. But trust me, each and every week, Dennard (Wilson) puts up, keys to win the game. And stopping the run, and tackling, gang tackling. That's been one of our keys, and that's something we've been talking about. So that's football, but that's something Dennard (Wilson) talks about each and every day. It's disappointing to see us probably miss, I don't know, how many missed tackles did we have today. It's going to be disappointing once we get in tomorrow, and see how many missed tackles we had.
