DT DeForest Buckner

A great performance, obviously, from Jonathan Taylor who had three touchdowns. How much credit, though, should be given to this offensive line because you've seen it, firsthand?

"Oh yeah, they've been blocking their tails off – run game, pass game. Obviously, JT (Jonathan Taylor), the type of player he is, he's going to take advantage of that, and he's been able to do that on a consistent basis week in and week out."

Have you ever seen anything like the production that we have seen so far this year from Jonathan Taylor?

"No, not at all. I mean, he's playing on a whole other level, and it's been exciting to watch."

When you hear those MVP chants and you're on the sideline watching what Jonathan Taylor's able to do, what do you take away from that?

"Yeah, I mean, obviously he (Jonathan Taylor) is playing at an MVP level, and it's been exciting. The whole stadium was chanting MVP. We're witnessing greatness right in front of us. So, it's been cool."

You've been in the backfield at a high clip this season. What do you feel is most impressive about your performance and what's led to you being a leader?

"Yeah, honestly, I would say just the constant work that I'm continuing to try and do, the extra work, whatever it is. Just making sure I take advantage of my opportunities, like I've been saying. That's been my biggest goal, especially throughout the offseason, just making sure that when my opportunity shows up, that I take advantage of the one-on-one opportunities that I have. And I just been trying to do it on a consistent basis."

Did you feel like the defense took a step in the right direction today?

"Yeah, I think so. We obviously got things that we need to clean up, especially a lot of leaky yards in the run game. And then just continuing to keep those mobile quarterbacks in the pocket. We're getting pressure on them and everything, getting them off the spot, we just got to do a better job with containing them in the pocket."
