Buck, you made Cam Ward uncomfortable today, held him to 20 points. What was the biggest positive you can take from this win?
I feel like for the majority of the game, there were a couple of times he escaped the pocket, but for the majority of the game, when he tried to escape up the middle, I feel that we did a good job collapsing the pocket and just making sure that he felt the pressure pretty much all day. And yeah, we executed well on those parts. I mean, there's still some things we need to clean up fundamentally and technique-wise and executing some of the plays. That's how they were able to obviously get in the red zone a couple times, when weren't able to get off on third downs. But there's definitely some stuff we still need to clean up.
Kenny's pick six really set the tone right at the beginning of the game. How does that elevate you guys?
We talk about starting fast and we can't start it faster than that. So, it was a great start. He [Ward] felt the pressure, and he threw it and then Kenny (Moore II) made a great play.
Do you feel like you guys are just clicking right now?
Definitely. But like I said, there's still somethings, especially on the defensive side to clean up to execute even better. I feel like we're playing some pretty good complementary football.
You're perfect through Week 3. What message does that send to the rest of the league?
Honestly, we're not really heard about what everybody else is saying. We've been talking about just going 1-0 each and every week and being process-driven instead of result-driven.
You've been around the league for a while, when you start a season like this, what does it do to your confidence?
Yeah, it definitely brings a lot of confidence into the locker room, into the building, and we have to continue to feed off of that and build off of it.
