Derrick Henry Named FedEx Ground Player of the Week

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has been voted the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for Week 5, the NFL announced today. Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has been voted the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week for Week 5.

The votes are in and fans have selected the top FedEx Air and Ground performers of the week from games played on Thursday through Sunday. FedEx is proud to recognize quarterbacks and running backs who stand out on the field and deliver for their team.

By winning the FedEx AIR/GROUND NFL Player of the Week Award, FedEx will work with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the largest organization exclusively representing the Black College community, to make a $2,000 donation in Justin Herbert and Derrick Henry's names to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Over the course of the entire season, select HBCUs will receive grants totaling more than $100,000 to support needs-based scholarships through the 2022-2023 school year.
