How difficult of a task is this, to make sure you're a part of this?
I mean, it's very difficult. It's crazy. Just learn the playbook. Meet new guys. Communicate with new people. Getting a feel for everybody, because everybody's different. But for the most part, it turned out well.
You obviously are used to the NFL, but did it mean anything to put on the Titans uniform, and walk out on that field tonight?
It meant everything. Just growing up here, born and raised Titans, it has been a huge part of the community. This team is just a huge part of the community. And now that I'm a part of it, I know what it takes. I know that I'm part of it, and I can make a change in the community.
Are you pretty confident they brought you here for a reason, and what you did tonight is going to stand up?
Oh yeah, definitely. But that's just the beginning. I've got to keep my head down, continue to keep grinding.
What is the grind process, because obviously, September 11th comes pretty quickly, too? If 53 is set, what do you have to do from here on?
For me personally, just continue to stay uncomfortable, to keep myself on edge. Stay in the playbook. Communicate with the guys. Continue to build back that friendship, that brotherhood in the locker room.
