Cover 2: Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde & Washington RB Bishop Sankey

The following players who entered the 2014 NFL Draft were ranked in Daniel Jeremiah's top 50 (as of April 1). Click below for a write-up of each duo: 

Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State, Senior

College stats: Hyde rushed for 1,521 yards and 15 touchdowns on 208 rush attempts in 2013 in earning Big Ten Running Back of the Year and first-team All-Big Ten honors. He had nine straight games with more than 100 rushing yards and averaged 138.3 rushing yards per game. Hyde rushed 185 times for 970 yards and 16 TDs as a junior in 2012 when he was second-team All-Big Ten. He gained 566 yards and six TDs on 106 rushes as a sophomore and played in seven games in 2010 as a freshman.

Combine measurements: Height: 6 feet, 0 inches; Weight: 230 pounds

Combine performances: 40-yard dash: 4.66 seconds (hurt his hamstring); Bench press: 19 repetitions of 225 pounds; Vertical jump: 34.5 inches; Broad jump: 9 feet, 6 inches

Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington, Junior

College stats: Sankey opted to declare for the NFL Draft with one year of college eligibility remaining after rushing for 1,870 yards (fourth-most in NCAA) and 20 touchdowns on 327 attempts. He added 304 yards and a TD on 28 receptions in 2013 when he was named second-team All-American and first-team All-Pac 12. The rushing yardage eclipsed Corey Dillon's single-season school record of 1,695 yards in 1996, and Sankey had at least one rushing TD in every game of 2013. Sankey rushed for 1,439 yards and 16 TDs in 2012 after becoming a starter in the second game of the season. He played at running back and on special teams in 12 of 13 games as a freshman in 2011.

Combine performances: 40-yard dash: 4.49 seconds; Bench press: 26 reps (second among RBs); Vertical jump: 35.5 inches; Broad jump: 10 feet, 6 inches (tied for fourth among RBs); 3-cone drill: 6.75 seconds (first among RBs); 20-yard shuttle: 4.00 seconds (first among RBs)
