CJ, Titans Visit St. Thomas Hospital

Senior Writer and Editor Jim Wyatt tackles another batch of questions from Titans fans. 

The Titans practiced on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park. The Titans will take a break this weekend before returning on Monday to ramp up prep work for the regular season opener at the Denver Broncos in Week 1.

 Levin was waived by the team on Wednesday.

The team's seven captains for the upcoming season: QB Cam Ward, WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tony Pollard, DT Jeffery Simmons, S Amani Hooker, LB Cody Barton, LS Morgan Cox.

The Titans have made a boatload of moves in the past 24-48 hours, from roster cuts to waiver claims to practice squad additions.

Receivers Mason Kinsey, Xavier Restrepo and James Proche II are among those who have been signed.

The Titans have acquired DB Jalyn Armour-Davis, -LB Dorian Mausi Jr., DB Samuel Womack III, DE C.J. Ravenell via waivers.

Tuttle, who played in college at the University of Tennessee, was waived by the Carolina Panthers earlier this week after playing two seasons with the team

Keep in mind the Titans have the top spot in the waiver claim process, so more changes are expected in the coming days.

The Titans trimmed their roster to 53 players on Tuesday. One day after waiving/releasing 16 players, the Titans parted ways with 20 more players today.

All teams must be down to 53 players by 3 p.m. Tuesday. 

In three preseason games, Ward completed 10-of-19 passes for 145 yards, with a 77.9 passer rating and a 52.6 completion percentage.
