CB Marcus Harris

The Jaguars were attacking a lot in the middle of the field. What kind of things were they scheming up to free up just the middle like that? It just seemed like it was kind of wide open there?

They were just running deeper concepts down the field, where it requires us to get depth in our pass drops, and that was it. Just targeting that open space. Same concept we've seen all year.

As the game went on, they started running more crossing routes and things like that. Was it more the man-to-man, or was it more kind of zone? Or were they just kind of just splitting zones, and things like to pop guys open?

Yeah, I mean, once you realize what's going on, I think they obviously we were running a good amount of man, just to stay tighter in coverage. So they started running runaway routes. Earlier we were running obviously more zone, as you guys saw. And we were taking that kind of stuff away. So then, they went to their zone beaters, and we tried to match it up. Obviously, they were just running away.

What's that transition like going from playing nickel the last couple of weeks, making that transition, and kind of finding your groove there, and then playing outside against guys like BTJ (Brian Thomas Jr), and Jakobi Meyers.

Obviously, it's a little different for your play entry, from outside versus inside. But at the end of the day, it's just covering the guy in front of you, and knowing what's going on.

What about the communication? It seemed like Kevin Winston Jr. and you were communicating pretty well on the back end. Seemed like some things kind of got inside of you guys. Is that just things that you all will have to iron out as rookies, or is that something that's on the play call side?

I mean we're both rookies. I think when we're able to communicate, and discuss how we see things, how he sees it, how I see it, we're able to solve problems faster, rather than not communicating about it. I think we, as a whole secondary, we communicate. Obviously, we're both rookies so we came in together. We talk a little bit more, because we're both going through the same thing.

I know Dennard (Wilson) kind of gave you praise, also gave Kevin Winston Jr. praise, on how you all approach the game. Is this something that you are going to get feedback from him, and of course, Coach (Steve) Jackson once the week starts back up, and you guys see what you did on tape, and go through it?

Usually, we'll get our feedback tomorrow when we watch the film. Dennard (Wilson) always comes off and says we played hard, and that he's proud of us. But then we watch the film, and make those minor corrections that we need, in order to take that next step.
