As a corner you can't panic. And that's something that you don't do, when that ball is coming. Like what goes into that?
Playing my technique like I'm supposed to do, just depending on the position that I'm in. I know how to play a ball, whatever position that is. So, it's just about making a play. At the end of the day, I just want to make sure I'm in position.
How do you guys spin this effort forward to next week? Last week was tough. This week was up and down. How do you spin that forward for a tough game against the Colts?
Taking the next step. We learn each week. I feel like we improved from last week as a defense, as a secondary. We still gave up some plays. We just have to go back, watch the film, and see what we did. But it's a different opponent we've got coming next week. They're going to run heavy. They are still going to throw the ball, but it depends on the week after, how we are going to adjust.
Three fourth-down plays you guys survive, and make the stop on the two pointer.
Yeah, it was big. We just had a fight mentality this week. We knew it was going to be a dogfight. Two 0-2 teams, and it is all about who is going to make the next play. You can't run us on a play that they made because they're going to make some. I feel like we fought until the end, and that's our mentality the whole year, to fight.
Staring at 0-2, how much urgency was there, to start this one?
A lot of urgency because you don't want to get behind in this league. We still have a chance to fight for the division. It's still early. We want to win the division, and still have a long time to go. But that was our thing. We just didn't want to fall behind. We know what type of team we are, and we just have to come out and play to our standards.
