NASHVILLE, Tenn. --** Drew Bennett met with the Tennessee Titans about returning to his first team to help shore up their receiving corps.

Bennett visited the Titans' headquarters Monday. Tennessee is where Bennett got his start as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA in 2001, and he led the team in receptions for two of his six seasons here.

The 30-year-old Bennett left as a free agent and signed a six-year, $30 million contract with St. Louis in 2007. He caught 34 passes before a broken foot ended his season in 2008. He also has visited with Atlanta and Cleveland after being released by the Rams.

The Titans signed free agent Nate Washington and drafted Kenny Britt in the first round to boost their receiving corps.
