Ravens coach John Harbaugh on Titans defense:
"I think they're excellent. They're one of the top defenses in the league, you know? They're playing very hard and very physical. They're running the ball just like you'd expect from a Dean Pees defense, and a Mike Vrabel defense. You have a really nice combination of scheme, talent, players playing hard, and well-coached. All those things."
Harbaugh on what stands out to him about QB Marcus Mariota and the Titans offense:
"Well, he stands out for one thing. It starts with the quarterback. I think they're built around him. He does a really good job of running and passing – all the read stuff they've done, the drop back and play action. He does it very well. He's a good runner. They have a solid offensive line, they really play hard and finish blocks. They're really smart, you could see that. Good backs, two different kinds of backs that complement each other very well. There's really good receivers as well. No. 84 (Corey Davis) is a guy that we loved coming out. He's a Western Michigan guy, where my dad and I coached, so we had a fun time talking about that when he was coming out in the draft. I'm not at all surprised at how well he's done. Then, Taywan Taylor, you know, my dad coached at Western Kentucky, so he's a Hilltopper. That's kind of fun, too. He's a speed guy. There are so many good versatile players, and a really good scheme."
Titans coach Mike Vrabel on what stands out about the Ravens:
"Well, they're big, physical, long, defense-veteran group. They have long corners, instinctive linebackers. They have a young guy that can run. Obviously, (C.J.) Mosley gets them lined up and he's productive. (Terrell) Suggs continues to produce at a high level into his mid-30s. They have two big, stout guys with (Michael) Pierce and (Brandon) Williams inside. They have length with (Chris) Wormley and (Brent) Urban. (Matthew) Judon has worked his way into being a very good outside linebacker in this league. Za'Darius Smith is a hybrid guy. When you have a veteran safety that can get guys lined up and disguise, it makes it very difficult. They've batted 40 balls this year. They have 40 PBU's, which is about a season for some teams. They've drawn 15 holding calls as a defensive front. That means they're active and they're getting off blocks. I don't know if that's high, but it felt high when I was watching the five games. I was like, 'Another hold, another hold. It's first-and-20, second-and-20.' So, you might as well trot Brett (Kern) out there and punt it. You have to be very conscience to not be able to grab them and hold them. Offensively, they got two backs that are good backs in (Alex) Collins and (Javorius) Allen. They have four tight ends that are basically interchangeable, and a speed receiver in (John) Brown. They have a big strong guy in (Michael) Crabtree and a crafty, strong, tough, warp the middle of the field guy with (Willie) Snead IV. I hope I'm not forgetting anybody."
