Titans head coach Mike Vrabel on…

(on if the Chiefs receivers have rules or the freedom to improvise when Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes scrambles)

I don't think there are rules. I think they all just understand where he wants them and where they go. He does a great job of finding them. I think there are probably rules and then they have to get broken. I think they know that if they get open there is a good chance they will get the ball.

(on if Patrick Mahomes' ability to scramble frustrates a defense)

I think that is always a challenge when you play Patrick (Mahomes). We have played him a few times and whether he drifts away from pressure or seems to know where it is coming from, his ability to put it in spaces out in front of guys in man coverage, his anticipation. Really turned the game around last year with a long scramble right before half. It will be important not only to defend him when he throws it, but when he runs it as well.

(on the challenges the Chiefs offense presents)

Just a lot of speed. They revolve around speed and there is a lot of precision to what they do. There are a lot of plays that repeat, something that Andy (Reid) isn't afraid to do is repeat plays. Their efficiency with them is outstanding, the players know what to do and they are executing. It may look different based on a coverage that they see. If it is man, then he may want to go to (Travis) Kelce somewhere because of the matchup, or if it is zone, then he knows there is a receiver that is going to be throttling down differently in each zone. They create a lot of speed, and it is a vertical threat with the passing attack and there are some underneath elements with guys working underneath as well.

(on Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and how he runs his program)

Andy has been a great mentor for me as a coach going back to when I was in Houston. Just to be able to have conversations with him, he has coached a lot of great players, coached a lot of great teams. Every meeting that I have ever been associated with, Andy (Reid) tries to give input to coaches, younger coaches. I am thankful for that relationship. They are always explosive offensively, he has a very creative offensive mind. Seems like the players enjoy playing for him, they have a good time. Ultimately they have been successful and they have a good time because they win. They have had a lot of success in this league, very good offensively. He is a championship coach, and a championship person.
