A Look at Titans 2014 Schedule: November

2014 Titans Schedule: September | **October** | November | **December**

The Titans will open November with a bye in Week 9 that bisects the schedule. Like three of the first four games of the regular season, another three of four to start the second half of the season are on the road (at Baltimore, at Philadelphia, at Houston). Tennessee will host Pittsburgh during this stretch. Week 10

Titans at Ravens

Noon|Sunday Nov. 9| M&T Bank Stadium

Regular season series results: Titans lead 9-8

Last time in regular season:Titans won 26-13 at LP Field on Sept. 18, 2011; Last time in regular season at venue: Titans won 13-10 on Oct. 5, 2008

Baltimore's 2013 offensive rankings: Total yards: 4,918 (29th in NFL); Rushing yards: 1,328 (30th); Passing yards: 3,590 (18th); Points/Game: 20.0 (25th)

Baltimore's 2013 defensive rankings: Total yards allowed/game: 335.5 (12th); Rushing yards allowed/game: 105.4 (11th); Passing yards allowed/game: 230.1 (12th); Points allowed/game: 22.0 (12th); Sacks: 40 (tied for 16th); Interceptions: 16 (tied for 15th)

**

Early outlook:** A compelling question surrounding the Ravens is how will Joe Flacco respond to the career-low passer rating of 73.1 he posted in 2013 within a calendar year of being named MVP of Super Bowl XLVII. Flacco had career highs in completions (362), attempts (614) and yards (3,912), but his 22 interceptions in 2013 equaled his total from the previous two regular seasons. Flacco also was sacked a career-high 48 times last season, but he wasn't the only culpable player for Baltimore's offensive struggles. Ray Rice averaged a career-low 3.1 yards per carry (660 yards on 214 attempts) as the Ravens ended the season with 1,328 rushing yards (30th in the NFL).

Among players that Baltimore re-signed were: NT Terrence Cody, WR Jacoby Jones, TE Dennis Pitta (who missed the first 12 games of 2013) and ILB Daryl Smith. The Ravens also added WR Steve Smith, TE Owen Daniels and RB Justin Forsett via free agency. Baltimore is scheduled to make eight selections in the 2014 NFL Draft.

This game will be the first opportunity for Titans safety Bernard Pollard (signed with Tennessee in 2013) and right tackle Michael Oher (signed in 2014) to go against their former team.

This game will mark the return to Nashville of former Tennessee coach Mike Munchak, who became Pittsburgh's offensive line coach this offseason after being with the Titans/Oilers since 1982 as a player, assistant coach and head coach.

Although Pittsburgh's roster is still populated with veterans QB Ben Roethlisberger, TE Heath Miller, S Troy Polamalu, FS Will Allen and CBs Ike Taylor and William Gay, it was reshaped by free agency. The Steelers added RB LeGarrette Blount, WRs Lance Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey, FS Mike Mitchell and CB Brice McCain. Foles was one behind Peyton Manning's record of 20 TD passes to start a season before throwing an interception last season, and joined Manning in throwing seven TDs in one game last season. Foles was the seventh player in NFL history to do so.

The Eagles re-signed WR Jeremy Maclin but released WR DeSean Jackson, who ended up with NFC East rival Washington.

Eagles RB LeSean McCoy led the NFL with 1,607 rushing yards and 2,146 yards from scrimmage in 2013. Philadelphia went 6-1 last season when McCoy rushed for at least 100 yards.

The Titans/Oilers lost the first six meetings (1972, 1979, 1982, 1988, 1991, 1994) with the Eagles but Tennessee has won the past four (2000, 2002, 2006, 2010). … CB Brandon Boykin tied for second in the NFL with six interceptions in 2013. … The Eagles are scheduled to make six draft picks in 2014.

In addition to RB Ben Tate, TE Owen Daniels and WR Lestar Jean left via free agency, as well as safety Danieal Manning, defensive linemen Antonio Smith and Earl Mitchell and inside linebackers Joe Mays and Darryl Sharpton, but J.J.
