Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Daniel Bellinger as an unrestricted free agent during the 2026 offseason to provide a physical blocker and reliable pass catcher to the tight end room. The 6-foot-6-inch, 255-pounder was originally drafted by the N.Y. Giants and spent his first four seasons with the club compiling 88 receptions for 934 yards and four touchdowns over 62 games played.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:  
• In 2022, Bellinger became the first rookie tight end in Giants history to rush for a touchdown when he scored on a double reverse at Green Bay.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
• Bellinger visited the JFK Knights football team in Paterson, N.J. to donate 40 pairs of new cleats for the upcoming season.
• As a member of the Giants, Bellinger met with 120 students that participated in a NFL Flag clinic following the team's practice in Germany.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
• The Las Vegas, Nev., native was selected by the N.Y., Giants in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
• Signed by the Titans as an unrestricted free agent on March 12, 2026.

SEASON RECAPS:

2025 (16/10 - N.Y. Giants): Played in 16 games with 10 starts and recorded 19 receptions for 286 yards with two touchdowns. Was inactive for one game. 
• At Denver (10/19), had three receptions for a career-high 88 yards and one touchdown. Caught a career-long 44-yard touchdown pass from Jaxson Dart in the first quarter.
• Against Dallas (1/4), had two receptions for 38 yards including a 29-yard touchdown catch.

2024 (17/8 - N.Y. Giants):  Played in all 17 games with eight starts. Recorded 14 receptions for 125 yards. 
• Against New Orleans (12/8), tied his career-high with five receptions for 45 yards.

2023 (17/13 - N.Y. Giants):  Appeared in all 17 games with 13 starts and tallied 25 receptions for 255 yards. 
• At Las Vegas (11/5), had three receptions for 43 yards.
• At Philadelphia (12/25), recorded a season-high four receptions for 43 yards.

2022 (12/11, 2/2 - N.Y. Giants): Appeared in 12 games with 11 starts and recorded career-high 30 reception for 268 yards with two touchdowns.  Also tallied a rushing touchdown. Was inactive for four games and did not play in the regular season finale. Started both postseason contests and recorded three receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown. Made his NFL debut at Tennessee (9/11). 
• Against Carolina (9/18), recorded his first career NFL touchdown on a 16-yard reception.
• Against Dallas (9/26), had four receptions for 40 yards.
• At Green Bay (10/9), became the first rookie tight end in Giants history to rush for a touchdown. Scored on a double reverse, his first career rushing attempt.
• Against Baltimore (10/16), tallied a season-high five receptions for 38 yards with a touchdown.
• At Minnesota (1/15), started at tight end in his postseason debut and recorded two receptions for 17 yards with a touchdown.

COLLEGE: 
• Played in 43 games with 32 starts over four seasons (2018-21) at San Diego State. His career totals included 68 receptions for 771 yards with five touchdowns.
• As a senior (2021), was named a team captain and started 13 of the team's 14 games. Totaled a career-high 31 receptions for 357 yards with two touchdowns.
• As a junior (2020), started all eight games in the COVID-19 shortened season. Named honorable mention All-Mountain West by the league's coaches and media. Caught 21 passes for 203 yards.
• As a sophomore (2019), played in all 13 games with 11 starts and tallied 15 catches for 201 yards with three touchdowns.
• As a freshman (2018), was on the travel squad in three of the first four games of the season as a true freshman before playing in the final nine contests at tight end. Had one catch for 10 yards
• Graduated from San Diego State with a degree in business administration.

PERSONAL:  
• Attended Palo Verde (Nev.) High School and earned three letters as a tight end and linebacker. Named all-conference on both offense and defense.
• As a senior, played in nine games and totaled 21 catches for 371 yards with three touchdowns. Earned first-team all-state honors on defense where he had 131 tackles, 10 stops for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
• Named Palo Verde athlete of the year.
• Also starred in basketball and track and field earning second-team all-league honors in basketball and making the regional finals in track and field in the 400 meters and 4x400-meter relay. His 4x100 team placed third at the Nevada state championships.
• Son of Frank and Renee Bellinger. Has a twin sister named Betsy.
