Salvador Lopez will be entering his fifth season in 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Tennessee Titans.
He was formerly an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the University of Louisville football team for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Prior to his stint with Louisville, he worked as a Seasonal Athletic Trainer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2015 season. He also served as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the football and tennis teams at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla., in 2013 and 2014. He holds a Master of Science in Medical Sciences degree from USF.
A native of Fresno, Calif., Salvador earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fresno where he began his formal athletic training education. While at Fresno State, he was an athletic training intern with the Oakland Raiders the summer of 2013. He is additionally certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the NASM, and is certified in Selective Functional Movement Screening through FMS.
