Johnson, who captured FedEx Ground Player of the Week honors last week, rushed 25 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns in Tennessee's 34–27 win Sunday at San Francisco. Johnson currently leads the NFL in rushing with 959 yards, 122 yards ahead of Cedric Benson, who ranks second with 837 yards.
For the second consecutive week, third time this season and fifth time in his career, Johnson recorded a multiple-touchdown game. His one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter tied the game at 17, and his two-yard TD run put the Titans ahead 24-20 in the fourth quarter.
On a 26-yard run in the second quarter, Johnson reached 1,000 scrimmage yards in 2009 and eclipsed 2,500 career scrimmage yards in just his 23rd NFL game. A 41-yard run in the fourth quarter put Johnson over the 100-yard mark for the third consecutive game and eighth tme in his career.
