JOHNSON OVER 100 AGAIN: With Chris Johnson's 141 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries against the Bears, he recorded the 31st 100-yard rushing game of his career and his third of 2012. All three of those efforts have come in the last six weeks, when he has averaged 115.2 rushing yards per contest.
CHRIS JOHNSON'S 110-YARD GAMES: Chris Johnson's effort against the Bears tied him with Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown (28) for the second-most 110 yard rushing games in a player's first five NFL seasons. With 141 yards against the Bears, Johnson passed Walter Payton (27). Eric Dickerson has the most 110-yard rushing games through five seasons with 35.
FIRST TWO-POINT CONVERSION SINCE 2010: Matt Hasselbeck connected with Kenny Britt on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter. It marked the team's first two-point attempt since Oct. 31, 2010 at San Diego and its first successful two-point conversion since Britt recorded one on Sept. 19, 2010 against Pittsburgh.
JOHNSON SCORES ON ANOTHER 80-YARDER: In the fourth quarter, Chris Johnson scored on an 80-yard touchdown run. It was his fifth career rushing touchdown (second of 2012) of 80 yards or longer, extending his NFL record.
WASHINGTON 10TH FOR FRANCHISE IN CAREER TOUCHDOWN RECEPTIONS: Wide receiver Nate Washington recorded his fourth touchdown reception of 2012, hauling in a 30-yard pass from Matt Hasselbeck in the end zone during the third quarter. Washington now has 35 career touchdown receptions, including 23 as a member of the Titans. He surpassed Charley Frazier (22) for sole possession of 10th place on the team's all-time receiving touchdowns list.
HASSELBECK TIES GABRIEL ON TOUCHDOWN LIST: In the third quarter, Matt Hasselbeck completed his seventh touchdown pass of the season, connecting with Nate Washington on a 30-yard score. It gave Hasselbeck 201 career touchdown passes, tied with Roman Gabriel for 31st on the NFL's all-time list.
WIMBLEY NOTCHES SACK: Early in the third quarter, defensive end Kamerion Wimbley recorded a nine-yard sack against Jay Cutler. The play gave Wimbley 3.5 sacks in 2012, his first season in Tennessee, and 46 sacks in his seven-year career.
HASSELBECK REACHES 5,000 ATTEMPTS: In the first half, Matt Hasselbeck became the 20th player in NFL history to reach 5,000 career pass attempts.
SACK, FORCED FUMBLE FOR CASEY: Late in the second quarter, defensive tackle Jurrell Casey was credited with a 22-yard sack and forced fumble against Jay Cutler. The ball was recovered by linebacker Zach Brown and led to a field goal for the Titans. Casey recorded his first sack of the season (3.5 career) and his first forced fumble of the season (second of career).
FIRST CAREER TAKEAWAY FOR BROWN: Rookie linebacker Zach Brown recorded his first career takeaway by recovering a Jay Cutler fumble in the second quarter.
SACK BY AYERS: In the first quarter, linebacker Akeem Ayers was credited with his third sack of the season and the fifth of his career when he dropped Jay Cutler for no gain.
SAFETY SCORED BY TITANS: In the first quarter, the Titans scored on a safety. Bears tackle J'Marcus Webb was called for illegal use of hands as he blocked defensive end Kamerion Wimbley in the end zone, which by rule is a safety. It was the first safety scored by the Titans since Nick Schommer's blocked punt went out of the end zone at San Diego on Oct. 31, 2010.
FIRST START FOR SENSABAUGH: Rookie cornerback Coty Sensabaugh recorded the first start of his career. The fourth-round pick started against the Bears as the nickel defensive package.
LUTUI STEPS IN FOR HARRIS: With right guard Leroy Harris out of action with a knee injury, reserve Deuce Lutui recorded his first start in a Titans uniform. The seven-year veteran, who signed with the Titans on Sept. 11, last started in 201 as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
INACTIVES: The Titans' seven inactive players against the Bears were quarterback Jake Locker, linebacker Patrick Bailey, guard Leroy Harris, tackle Byron Stingily, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, linebacker Will Witherspoon and defensive tackle DaJohn Harris. Locker missed his fifth consecutive game with a left (non-throwing) shoulder injury.
