NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** The Titans just wrapped up practice on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

On Sunday, the team will face the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Logan Ryan update**

Cornerback Logan Ryan practiced on Thursday after missing the previous day.

Ryan remains in the concussion protocol after being injured in Sunday's game, but his return to the practice field was viewed as a positive sign.

"He had to go through a practice, and he still has to see one more doctor," coach Mike Mularkey said of Ryan. "I think he did some good things. I know he has passed some of the protocol, it is just one more obstacle he has to go through today and we'll see. But we have all the way up to Sunday to get him back if we have to."

On Sunday, the Titans will face Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who leads the NFC with 82 catches. Fitzgerald has 1,207 career receptions, and needs just 26 yards to surpass Randy Moss for the third most reception yards in NFL history. In his career, Fitzgerald has 15,292 receiving yards.

"He has faced A.J. Green in there, and faced some good receivers as of late," Mularkey said of Ryan. "So this is just another good one. And hopefully he is back for it."

"A Dream Come True"

Tight end Luke Stocker spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Buccaneers before being released last week.

He signed with the Titans earlier this week, and believes he's a great fit.

"It's been a whirlwind. … I think it fits me perfectly, and that's one thing I was excited about," Stocker said of the Titans. "I heard coach (Mike) Mularkey use the catchphrase of 'Exotic Smashmouth' football. 'Smashmouth' is exactly what I want to do, and that's the way I think I can contribute to this team and help them out."

Stocker had 52 catches, 400 receiving yards and three touchdowns in seven seasons in Tampa Bay since he was drafted in the fourth round in 2011. He's regarded as a solid blocker, and a force in the running game.

Mularkey said the Titans have been impressed with Stocker over the last few days, but his status for Sunday's game is uncertain.

Stocker, who played at the University of Tennessee, said he's glad to be back in the state.

"It's a dream come true to come back to Tennessee and be able to play pro football," Stocker said.

Injuries

Receiver Rishard Matthews was a full participant in practice on Thursday.

Matthews has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury.

"He is very important to our offense," Mularkey said of Matthews. "I am hoping he gets up in the morning and feels good after a good day's work, and we'll see tomorrow if he can continue to keep going. He is an important part of this offense."

Tight end Delanie Walker (ankle) and linebacker Derrick Morgan (knee) did not practice on Thursday.

Mularkey said Walker "should be good tomorrow."
