On what changed for him after a successful first half

"I think we just kind of went in different directions on the offensive side. Tried to take advantage of some other matchups which was a good idea. I think it was kind of one of those things. Sometimes you don't get the ball on time, but I try to take advantage of every opportunity I'm given. I'm sure we'll get it figured out and keep pressing forward from there."

On how the offense is a good fit for him

"I think [Offensive Coordinator] Coach [Pat] Shurmur does a great job with using tight ends. That was the first thing when he got hired and I looked at the history of how he uses tight ends and things like that. He's got a long line of guys that he's been successful with, so I think that it's a good little snippet of what the season could be. Obviously, we could be a lot better on that side, but we're going to keep pressing forward."

On conversations with WR Jerry Jeudy after he had multiple drops

"I think Jerry's a very talented player for us. Obviously, in the game, we need plays. Nobody wants drops, but coming from me, I understand it. I've been a rookie, been in that spot before. For me, it's not really alarming. I think Jerry has all the ability in the world and he's a very good player for us, so it's just one of those things that he has to focus in on and lock in on. He has all the ability to catch those balls and I'm sure he's going to do that."

On the team missing several players due to injury already

"Obviously, we don't want that, right? We're a much better team with all our guys on the field. But you kind of have to have the mentality that once those guys [CB A.J. Bouye, RB Phillip Lindsay, WR KJ Hamler, WR Courtland Sutton, OLB Von Miller] do go down, you can't get them back right in the moment, so you've got to kind of move forward. Obviously, we care about those guys utmost and you know, want the best for them. But we have to move over for the time being and keep pressing forward. I think even with those injuries, I think we put ourselves in position to win the game, but we just have to close out and we have a lot of good players, a lot of good depth on our team, so I think we're going to be alright."
