HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**

(on Bo Scaife attending the OTA)

I'm glad he is here. Its looks like he has been working out. It was good to see him.

(on if he gave an explanation on why he hasn't been here)

No. I haven't had a chance to talk about it yet.

(on why he hasn't been here with the consideration that he has been treated well financially over the last two years)

That is kind of my opinion on it. Guys do different things for different reasons. It is good. It looks like he has been working out. He is in shape and picked up the offense fine. As long as he continues to participate in the offseason program, I think he will be fine.

(on Scaife practicing right away and how that differs with the treatment of Kenny Britt)

There is a significant difference between going into your second year and going into your fourth or fifth year in this league. Bo has not had a problem with conditioning or anything like that. He does a pretty good job of taking care of himself.

(on how important this year is for Scaife especially with Alge Crumpler gone)

He is very important for our offense. Both the younger guys are stepping up and they are going to play, but he is the experienced guy. He has a good feel and has been very productive for us.

(on if Scaife being here affects the situations of Chris Johnson and Stephen Tulloch)

I think each situation is different. It is good to almost have the full compliment back. Again, things will work out. The situations are so different that I don't think that this will have any affect.

(on if he thinks Chris Johnson will be in attendance during the June OTAs)

I hope so. Obviously, time will tell. I really can't predict that. I would assume that there will probably be a sit-down meeting between both sides between now and then. We will see what happens.

(on whether he has talked to Chris Johnson)

No. He invited me to participate in his football camp, but I told him that I would like him to participate in mine.

(on the purpose of a sit-down meeting)

I think it makes sense to get everybody together. I think that is what we will push for. There is no purpose, no set agenda right now, but it would make sense to get together and try to sort things out.

(on when the meeting would occur)

I just said it may happen before we come back in June and it may not. It makes sense to do that.

(on anything specific that needs to be aired out during the meeting)

No. Again we clearly have an issue and we are going to try to get it resolved. That is all I can say.

(on whether he accomplished what he wanted through May OTAs)

Yeah. I feel good about it. The month of May, the second part of the month is typically I think the most important because you are able to identify where your young players are. We have some issues. We have some guys that have to heal up and get into shape. This is the opportunity for them between now, the end of this week and when we return in June to get into real good shape, so they can compete and then they know what is expected of them. It makes July much easier. We got a lot done. We got a lot in. We have some younger players, like Stafon [Johnson] for example who has plenty of reps and he is certainly taking advantage of it.

(on Gene Chizik attending today's session)

From time to time we will have coaches in. Are OTAs are open to most staffs and they take advantage. He was passing through, so it was good to see him.

(on Leroy Harris)

He has settled in. Leroy has played every position up there and he has done it well. He is settling in just fine. By all appearances it looks like he has been doing it for a long time. The group is communicating very well. He has had a great offseason.

(on Derrick Morgan participating today)

We tried to film a lot of the individual work, so I will get to look at it. He finished the individual period which was good.

(on why Javon Ringer didn't practice)

He had a little setback yesterday. He is sore. He may have a mild hamstring strain. It is nothing to be concerned with and I don't think it is anything that will hamper him in June.

(on any wisdom he may pass along to punt returner Damian Williams)

No, just that there is a lot of little things to go through to address the decisions. If you get a player to the point where you trust that he understands the decision and the process, then you would never second guess the decision because it is he that is making it. There are a lot of decisions that are involved back there. The game is different, the balls are different, the rules are different. We are just covering those things.

(on his impressions of the punt return battle)

We have a good group. Damian [Williams] can catch them. Mark [Jones] can catch them. [Bobby] Sewall can catch them. It is what we thought.
